The link between Tech and Fitness

We talked about the Apple fitness patent some days ago and yesterday Apple has released a new silhouette-style iPod ad, featuring ‘Shut Up and Let Me Go’. a song by UK band the Ting Tings. This silhouette style is very fitness oriented.

And if you don’t think that fitness and health are very important matters in the tech industry here is another example: the Wii Fit
Wii Fit managed to enter the UK charts at #1 this week, and it sold like crazy - handing it the sixth biggest-selling launch period of any game in the UK. Taking into account the £70 price point, Wii Fit actually became the third highest cash-taker of all time - taking £16.3m in the UK.

So you can imagine how the market will be after the launch of snitts.com
