The GPS 2.0 with Dash

Navigation 2.0 arrives today with Dash Navigation’s Dash Express GPS navigator (global positioning system).
The GPS systems show you where to go, using satellite signals to fix your location as you drive.
But Dash connects your gadget back to the company’s servers over cell phone or Wi-Fi wireless Internet connections.

Dash uses “crowdsourcing,” where its own fleet of users communicates back their positions, speeds, and other data so that Dash can calculate traffic on both freeways and major side streets. Robot babysitter always ready to teach

Major Japanese retailer Aeon Co. said Tuesday it has introduced a 1.4-metre (four-foot-seven) yellow-and-white robot at a store in the southern city of Fukuoka in charge of entertaining the children.
If parents want to leave their children with the kid-sized machine, they arrange for the youngsters to wear special badges that bear codes which the robot can read.

It will then entertain them with limited conversation and by taking fun pictures, which the robot can display thanks to a projection unit mounted on its head. The projection unit also serves a second, somewhat dubious purpose: displaying advertisements. While parents enjoy time away from their young ones, the robotic babysitters will no doubt be projecting all manner of sweets and awesome toys around the play area.

A new comparison shopping site: TestSeek

I broke some days ago my MP3 player , so I’m currently searching for a new one. I decided to search and compare the MP3 players on the Net (I’m not an Ipod addict). I tried different websites until I found this product quality comparison shopping site : TestSeek
It aggregate expert product reviews in six languages (English, German, French, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish) and the products are sorted into about 200 categories.

You can find expert product reviews or users reviews (based on users registered to the website).
No product doubles (all reviews under one product) or “fake-reviews” only real hands-on reviews (you can verify by going to the different websites linked).
It’s an interesting website, which deserve to be known.
